YSTOP is a soft-skills training program for youth in grades 8-12!

As you may be aware, both the Skills Gap Study and the Employer One Survey administered by the Four County Labour Market Planning Board yielded valuable information about the type of skills local employers are seeking. These surveys identified a wide variety of “soft skills” that employers are having difficulty finding in the local labour force. In order to address some of these “soft skills” gaps, the Wellington Waterloo Community Futures is partnering with the Saugeen Economic Development Corporation and Bruce Community Futures Development Corporation to deliver a 10-part training workshop series for youth in grades 10-12 to help them understand and develop these skills. This program has been made possible by FedDev Ontario.
